WHEN TO GO
Rio is a destination that can be enjoyed year-round, with continuous new openings in museums and a variety of cultural activities. The ArtRio art fair takes place every September, bringing a host of associated events. The ideal months in terms of climate are from May to October; it is important to avoid the end of February and the beginning of March, when Carnival occurs and large crowds gather.
