WHEN TO GO
Marrakesh is a seasonal destination, with a key cultural moment in February during the 1‑54 Contemporary African Art Fair – Marrakesh edition, an annual fair bringing together galleries, artists, and collectors from Africa and its diaspora, activating the city through exhibitions and programming across institutions and independent spaces. Spring (March–May) and fall (September–November) offer the most temperate conditions.
